Do you allow Pets? Yes we do allow pets to take with you during your hire. We do not charge extra for pets but on the vehicles return we may charge a £20 cleaning premium if we think that we will need to perform a deeper clean. This will be decided on your return and key handover

What payment is needed to secure my dates? When booking your dates you have the ability to pay a 30% deposit on hires that are more than 6 weeks away from the booking date. For any hires less than 6 weeks we recommend full payment. Final payment is then taken 2 weeks prior to your hire date

Are there any hidden charges? No. We only charge for the hire and your refundable security deposit. We may offer extras but these are always optional to the hirer and are transparent when booking.

What are the requirements for hiring a motorhome? We require that all drivers are over 25 years old, have a minimum of 2 years driving experience and no more than 6 points on there license with no pending motoring convictions. Other than payment and fuelling the camper that is all you will need.

I have booked and paid for the hire what happens next? Once you have paid for your hire you will received a confirmation email straight away (if not please check junk / spam folder). We will then arrange to meet you to sign hire agreement and handover keys. On your hire date you will need the following:

  • Your full driving license and 2 forms of ID confirming your address
  • £500 to be paid by  card. This is a fully refundable deposit that will be returned to you in full should there be no accident claims or damages to the vehicle.
That is it you are all set to go on your adventure for your hire duration. We will then arrange to meet you on your return date for inspection and handover.
 
Why do i have to pay £500 on top of my hire? (2023 update) As we insure all vehicles we are required to retain £500 as a contribution to the excess of coverage of a total required by our policy of £1000. If no claim is made and no damage on the vehicle is present on your return, this will be immediately refunded. We prefer payments by card no less than 4 weeks prior to your hire including all driving license details and proof of address to avoid delay or cancellation to your policy. If no accident claim is made on return then we will request a refund back to your payment card within 48 hours.
 
What is your cancellation policy? All policies including cancellation can be found in our terms and conditions that you accepted upon booking. However to highlight our cancellation policy we require a minimum of 14 days before your hire for your booking to be cancelled unless under exceptional circumstances. All cancellation can be fully transfered in credit or suject to a £50 cancellation fee. For any cancellation within 14 days we can still credit your booking for a later date, transfer the hire under your request of refund 50% of the hire.
 
Can i hire a motorhome to explore a european destination?  Yes both our insurance and breakdown policy covers domestic and european travel, meaning you are free to travel within UK and Europe.
 
Are there any Mileage restrictions? There are no mileage restrictions during your hire that you need to adhere to
